GrithStones: during the reign of the Nazgar, enslaved Lithistrata filled the ranks of the Atlantean's ButcherPriests. From this the Lithistrata inherited artifacts of ectoplasmic armor; GrithStones. These artificial gems are worn as adornment on ones clothing. When touched, they manifest the ectoplasmic armor. GrithStones can be reprogrammed to any species to create the appropriate armor. (the armor is weightless until activated by the GrithStones) They regenerate any damage to the armor by slowly drawing on ambient ectoplasm. Armor thus created is gaudily decorative, with faux gems, ornate patterns ,etc. Despite the horror associated with GrithStone's history, Lithistratan programmer-artisans take great pride in being the sole masters of these artifacts, and will elaborate on even the dullest ordered patterns. Cost: 10 times the normal cost of the desired type of armor.

Meson Jars: devices which convert inorganic matter into edible food stuffs, etc. by way of nanites suspended in a magnetic field. These nanites convert the matter into mesons, then reconvert these back into matter in a different form. They can't replicate complex materials (radioactives, superconductors, diamonds, high-density metals, etc.) or machinery -unless it is TL6 or less and a scan of a sample is provided. Food stuffs created are nutritious, and will taste almost identical to the original, but will lack any of it's special properties, being merely a replication. Thus, though organic, life forms, organs, complex drugs, etc. cannot be replicated. Meson Jars look like glass cylinders, 1' tall, with an 18" radius. Their pressure-sealing lid is black, with a band of controls going down the side of the jar.As well, most have a black carrying strap along the top. The glass(which is actually a special, durable alloy) automatically tints deep red to protect the eyes of the user when matter is converted. They are creations of the Mezlim, and are distributed in the Empire by Shaolin companies. Cost: 175cr each within The FreeHolds. 750cr each outside. Note: Mesonic Synthesizers can be incorporated into the LIFE Systems of starships, and are used for stocking galleys and in science labs.

Nexus Globes: using Spatial Translation to link each Globe to the Nexwork, communication between any other nexwork-connected Globes is made possible. The Nexus Globe needs to be linked to an A.I. computer system, with the A.I. serving as a terminal program, in order to sort through or filter the vast information available. Such a program is also necessary in order to spy, or eavesdrop, on people using a Nexus Globe for an open-channel conversation or to browse the Nexwork. Nexus Globes appear as semi-transparent glowing orbs contained in a transparent metal casing. Images appear in 3D within the glowing orb. Cost: FREE

Personal Nexus Globe: A Wafer thin case, housing a 2" X 2" Nexus Globe, this smaller Globe can communicate with other Globes. However, it cannot be networked to other non-Globe systems, nor does it have an A.I. to sort information, etc. Cost: FREE
